Early Learning Networks
HEA assists community partners in developing Networks to achieve our county’s vision for a strong foundation for every child. Each organization plays a critical role in the lives of children and families in our community.
Elkhart County’s Gr8t Beginnings Network seeks to improve high-quality Early Learning for local families. Gr8t Beginnings brings together stakeholders that are passionate about improving outcomes for children ages infant to 8 years. Formed in 2016, this coalition leads the charge to expand preschool and high-quality Early Learning in our community.
Network representatives include:

- Community Foundation of Elkhart County
- Elkhart County School Districts
- Head Start
- Private, not-for-profit childcare center
Family Engagement Action Network
The Family Engagement Network brings together stakeholders in the community who are passionate about supporting parents and caregivers in being positively engaged in the learning and development of their children.
